Wednesday: Jenna Ortega suggests role to Lady Gaga for season 2

The famous pop singer and actress is a big fan of the show

Lady Gaga has declared herself a big fan of Wednesday and Jenna Ortega, to the point where she danced ” Bloody Mary” to Wednesday Addams’ iconic and now viral dance.

And as the Netflix production gears up for Season 2 of Wednesday, which she officially announced just over a week ago, Ortega has thrown around an idea for the Oscar-winning actress to star in Season 2.

Hypothetically, speaking to Variety on camera at the 2023 Golden Globes, Ortega said she would like Gaga to play her opposite her, and even in a role opposite Wednesday. Like for example Christina Ricci’s character was in season 1.

“If Lady Gaga was involved, it would have to be like two monsters who understand each other.

Is the possibility of Lady Gaga starring in season 2 not so far-fetched? Does the production make any indirect tease for her participation? What is certain is that it would be interesting to see her in the new season under the direction of Tim Burton.

A few words about Wednesday:

Wednesday series stars: Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester, Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair, Jamie McShane as Sheriff Donovan Galpin, Joy Sunday, Gwendoline Christie , Riki Lindhome, Percy Hynes White, Thora Birch and Hunter Doohan. Also, Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday Addams in the ’90s movies and series, joins a different role playing Marilyn Thornhill.

The series summary:

From the imagination of Tim Burton comes “Wednesday,” a twisted new series coming soon to Netflix. “Wednesday,” starring Jenna Ortega in the title role alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Louise Guzman, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci, and more, is an investigative mystery with many metaphysical elements that chronicles Wednesday’s student years at Nevermore Academy. Clap Clap!

The huge success of the Netflix series by the hand of Tim Burton we learned that it surpassed even Dahmer, since it scored more than 1 billion hours of views in a few weeks. This means that it is officially the 2nd most successful – English-language – Netflix series, right behind Stranger Things 4.

Season 2 of Wednesday will be released as usual through Netflix, although we don’t know exactly when at the moment.
