The OnePlus 10T officially ditches a key OnePlus feature
The first official images have been revealed

As we informed you recently , the official presentation and launch of the OnePlus 10T is scheduled for August 3rd . However, as usual, the company revealed some important details early on.
More specifically, the spotlight has seen official photos showing the exterior of the 10T, which is reminiscent of the OnePlus 10 Pro launched earlier this year. However, there are two key differences.
The first: OnePlus 10T officially removes the notification mute slider , a feature that users of the company’s smartphones have been accustomed to for years, to easily silence their phone, without a lot of clicks and menus.
OnePlus chief designer Hope Liu explained the reasoning behind the decision, telling The Verge :
While the notification slider looks like a very small component, it actually has a relatively large impact on the device’s motherboard surface, occupying 30mm². To ensure that the OnePlus 10T delivers in the areas we know our users value most, while retaining the slider, we would have to stack the device’s motherboard, which would result in the phone being thicker.
The freed up space will be used for a better battery with a larger capacity, faster charging and a better antenna system for phone calls.

The second difference has to do with the camera system , which this time does not come with Hasselblad’s signature . According to Liu, this concession was made to achieve a more attractive price.
At the moment we do not know more about the OnePlus 10T, however the last questions are expected to be resolved at the beginning of the last summer month.
