Pinocchio: When and where will the Guillermo del Toro film everyone is talking about play?
The first reactions are positive
Guillermo del Toro is preparing his new fairy-tale project called Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio . Yes, the famous creator will very soon bring the story of Pinocchio to your screens, as a stop-motion film.
This film will be shown through the frequency of Netflix and you can expect to see the familiar fairy tale, only the award-winning Mexican director of “The Shape of Water” and “Pan’s Labyrinth”, will convey it in his own special style.
Some foreign journalists have already watched the film and speak in the best words, while on Metacritic it currently has a score of 92/100, while others say that it is going “nail” for the Oscars.
When will he play?
Netflix’s brand new Pinocchio will be playing in December , but so far we don’t know exactly when it will premiere. It is worth mentioning that in Greece, it will come fully dubbed in Greek.

Oscar-winning director Guillermo Del Toro adapts the classic Italian tale of PINOCCHIO into a stop-motion musical adventure. Follow the mischievous adventures of Pinocchio as he tries to become a real boy.
The screenplay of Pinocchio was undertaken by Del Toro together with Patrick McHale , while the music will be composed by Greek-born Alexandre Desplat , who has also won an Oscar in the past.
The cast of the new Pinocchio:
The cast includes Ewan McGregor as Cricket, David Bradley as Geppetto and Gregory Mann as Pinocchio. They will be joined by Finn Wolfhard , Oscar winner Cate Blanchett , John Turturro , Ron Perlman , Tim Blake Nelson , Burn Gorman , as well as Oscar winners Christoph Waltz and Tilda Swinton .
“Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio” as it will be called in Greek, will premiere next December, exclusively through Netflix.
