New Pixar movie: “Elemental” is in its… element in the new trailer  

The heteronyms react next June

Disney and Pixar have released the newest trailer for ” Elemental ,” the brand new original film from the famous and beloved animation studio. 

The new Disney Pixar film takes place in Element City, where the inhabitants of fire, water, earth and air live together. The story tells us about Flame (Ember – Leah Lewis ), a tough, nimble and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, cheerful guy named Nereus (Wade – Mamoudou Athie ), makes her question her beliefs for the world they live in.

Also further revealed is the voice cast of Pixar’s 27th film, which includes: Oscar-nominated Inside Out co-director and writer Ronnie del Carmen , Shila Ommi ( Tehran ), Wendi McLendon-Covey ( The Goldbergs ), Catherine O’Hara ( Schitt’s Creek ), Mason Wertheimer and Joe Pera , creator and star of the Adult Swim sitcom Joe Pera Talks with You .

Ember and Wade are voiced by  Leah Leeis  and  Mamoudou Athie  respectively. Elemental is directed by Pixar veteran  Peter Sohn , known for 2015’s The Good Dinosaur, and written by  Brenda Hsueh . It is worth mentioning that the music of the film is edited by the legendary Thomas Newman. 

Elemental (“In Their Element” in Greek) will premiere on June 16 in cinemas.
