This is what Need for Speed: Underground 2 would look like if it were a remake!
The legendary racing game with today’s graphics
Without a doubt, Need for Speed Underground 2 is one of the most loved chapters of the series worldwide, but also in Greece, and there are many who would like a remake or a remaster of the legendary arcade racing game. But what would a remake look like with today’s graphics?
As it turns out, Darudnik , a Twitter user and fan of the game, wants to show you. In particular, the 3D artist in question has been making various concepts from video games for five years and this time he said to focus on Need for Speed Underground 2. More specifically, he shows us how the title could look, with next-gen graphics, if EA was making the decision to create it.
As seen in the images, the artist has put the green Nissan 350Z on the nighttime streets of Bayview City, also offering a glimpse of what an in-game speed race could look like.
For the record, Need for Speed: Underground 2 was released in 2004 by EA for the PC, as well as the Nintendo GameCube, Xbox and PlayStation 2. The title was a huge success from the first days of its release, and was especially loved in Hellas.
