The massive ancient creature arrives in December
Netflix has finally opened its cards for its new movie called “ TROLL ”. It’s been a while since we’ve seen or heard anything about the long-awaited film, and now we know when it will premiere, as the service released the official trailer.
TROLL is a fantasy film that focuses on a huge ancient creature, which has just “awakened” and wants to bring chaos to the world. The streaming service is betting big here and promises a Norwegian adventure that’s just the thing to kick off the Christmas season.
The film is directed by Roar Uthaug , known for his work on The Wave and Tomb Raider. Ine Marie Wilmann, Mads Sjogard Pettersen, Gard B. Eidsvold and Kim S. Falck-Jorgensen also star among others .
The official synopsis according to Netflix:
An ancient troll awakens in a Norwegian mountain. A motley crew of heroes must work together and stop this troll from wreaking deadly havoc.
