DJI Mini 2 SE: The new drone for beginners with a range of 10km

The Mini SE upgrade

Confirming the rumors, DJI has revealed its new entry-level drone. The Mini 2 SE comes with some upgrades over its predecessor with the main one being the integration of the OcuSync 2.0 system, which allows the drone to fly over twice as far as the Mini SE. Thus, the Mini 2 SE can maintain a stable video stream up to 10km away from the user.

Its battery lasts for 31 minutes of flight, just one minute more than the Mini SE. Otherwise it shows no differences from its predecessor, keeping the 249 grams in weight, as well as the same camera with a three-axis gimbal and the 1/2.3 inch CMOS sensor that records 2.7K video and 12MP photos.

The DJI Mini 2 SE will cost $369 when it launches next month, while the Fly More Combo will go for $519.
