The new Call of Duty has taken the internet by storm
A video from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II became incredibly viral , surpassing 11.5 million views in a few twenty-four hours . In particular, the game’s main campaign is now available for those who have pre-ordered, and so one user decided to share on Twitter a seemingly simple clip from the game’s track in Amsterdam.
The video immediately started gaining publicity on the social media site, even managing to confuse some as to whether it’s real life or a video game. Indeed, at first glance the technical field of the new Call of Duty is so impressive that the video can confuse one.
Among others, Twitter user @juanbuis who shared the video (which was originally uploaded by Antony Howard), noted:
My God, Amsterdam looks incredibly realistic in the new Call of Duty! I almost can’t believe this video is a game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is scheduled for release on October 28, 2022, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. In fact, the computer version, in addition to Battle.net, will also come to Steam after many years of absence of the franchise. Finally, later in the year the brand new Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will be released on the same platforms.
