Prey is now available on Greek Disney Plus
The new movie in the Hunter universe has arrived!
20th Century Studios ‘ Prey just debuted on Greek Disney Plus and was directed by Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane). This is the new film in the Predator universe , which is already doing great in the ratings, as we informed you a few hours ago.
The script was written by Patrick Aison (Jack Ryan, Treadstone) and according to Disney, Naru is a character who wants to “prove her worth as a warrior when she comes face to face with the most dangerous hunter of all time. The Predator franchise started in 1987 to huge success, starring the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The official synopsis of the film:
Prey takes place in Comanche 300 years ago and will tell the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has grown up in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters that roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out on a journey to protect the people. The prey he pursues and eventually confronts turns out to be a highly sophisticated alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal.
It is also the first film to be made available on a streaming service dubbed and subtitled in the Comanche language. The production, wanting to render the casting of the natives as faithfully as possible, chose to hire mainly actors of Comanche descent.
