TwitchCon San Diego took place this weekend, and it was full of weird moments , like Megan Thee Stallion’s dance…with Master Chief. However, there was also an unpleasant incident at the Twitch event. In particular, Adriana Chechik, one of the best-known streamers on the platform with over 800,000 followers, was seriously injured, to the point where she had to have surgery on her back.

Going into details, the Lenovo Legion booth at the event was hosting the Face Off, where various streamers tried to knock each other off elevated platforms. If someone fell, they would land on soft foams, which were supposed to prevent any injury.

However, it seems that the organization had not taken the necessary safety measures, with the minimal foam not being enough and the streamers ending up on the hard cement below. Adriana’s case was the worst, since the streamer decided to jump headlong into the foam and, as she pointed out through her official Twitter account, ended up breaking her waist in two places.

Well, I broke my lower back in two places and today I’m having surgery to put a rod in for support. Send your support.

In fact, other streamers were also injured at this particular booth, with LochVaness dislocating her knee and spraining her ankle, while there were also complaints from others about pain after falling on the booth’s foam.
