We currently only know about Scarlet and Violet’s 213 Pokémon, while in case you didn’t know, Pokémon Legends: Arceus has a total of around 242, while Sword & Shield has 400.

Let us remind you that Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will be the first fully open-world RPGs, as far as the main chapters of the series are concerned, placing a great emphasis on freedom of approach. Thus, players will be able to complete the three main storylines in any order they want. One of them will send them on a so-called “treasure hunt”, while the game will also include the classic Pokémon Gyms and Gym Leaders, but players will be able to complete them in any order they want.

At the same time, we already know all three new Pokémon starters. The reason for Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly, which respectively represent grass-type, fire-type and water-type. Of course, the games will have many more new creatures, such as the large ice Pokémon Cetitan, Fidough which is a dog made of bread, and the Paldean Wooper, which will remind fans of the Pokémon Gold & Silver games.

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will be released exclusively for Nintendo Switch on November 18.
