Pinocchio: Guillermo del Toro has a special tale for you on Netflix – Watch the official trailer  

The premiere date has been revealed

Netflix has one more ace up its sleeve before it shuts down in 2022 and that’s Pinocchio . Titled Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, this film has already received rave reviews and is expected to play very soon.

Now, in the spotlight came the official trailer, which wants to prepare you for the well-known adventure, however, through the eyes of the legendary del Toro. In this film you can expect to see the familiar fairy tale, only the award-winning Mexican director of ” The Shape of Water ” and ” Pan’s Labyrinth ” will convey it in his own special style.

People are sometimes afraid of what they don’t know… From Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro and award-winning stop-motion legend Mark Gustafson, Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio is a story you think you know… but it is not so.

Plot and information:

Oscar-winning director Guillermo Del Toro adapts the classic Italian tale of PINOCCHIO into a stop-motion musical adventure. Follow the mischievous adventures of Pinocchio as he tries to become a real boy.

The screenplay of Pinocchio was undertaken by Del Toro together with  Patrick McHale , while the music will be composed by Greek-born  Alexandre Desplat , who has also won an Oscar in the past.

The cast of the new Pinocchio:

The cast includes  Ewan McGregor  as Cricket,  David Bradley  as Geppetto and  Gregory Mann  as Pinocchio. They will be joined by  Finn Wolfhard , Oscar winner  Cate Blanchett ,  John Turturro ,  Ron Perlman ,  Tim Blake Nelson ,  Burn Gorman , as well as Oscar winners  Christoph Waltz  and  Tilda Swinton .

Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio will play in select theaters and on Netflix on December 9.
