Thrill on social media for the reunion of the stars of Back to the Future (VIDEO)

The rare reappearance of Marty and “Doc Brown” 40 years later

It took almost 40 years – 37 to be exact – for the beloved stars of the ” Back to the Future  films to reunite .

“Doc Brown” and “Marty McFly” known to the world as Christopher Lloyd (Christopher Lloyd) and Michael J. Fox (Michael J. Fox) made a rare joint appearance at this year’s New York Comic-Con and tore the stage down as the audience burst into applause, while they left no one unmoved especially with the tender embrace shared by the two friends.

Their sweet reunion, where they talked about their instant on-set chemistry and a few more stories, took social media by storm with the video of the tender embrace they shared totaling over 10 million views .

Of the time they first met, Lloyd said, “I didn’t know Michael except by hearing about him. There was instant chemistry between us as they say.” Let’s mention that Michael J. Fox has been fighting Parkinson’s disease for 30 years, with his “Michael J. Fox Foundation” having raised over $1.5 billion since 2000 to fight Parkinson’s.

Speaking about how much Lloyd has supported him over the years, Fox said:

Parkinson’s is a gift that continues to hurt me, but it is a gift and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. People like Chris stood by me, and so many of you. It’s not about what I have, it’s about what I’ve been given, a voice to do that and help people.”

Despite their years apart, with Lloyd now 82 and Fox 61, they remain close friends.

The first Back to the Future directed by Robert Zemeckis was released in 1985, with its sequels, ” Back to the Future Part II ” and ” Back to the Future Part III ” released in 1989 and 1990 respectively.

Lloyd had other successes, such as his breakout role in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest . He later played Uncle Fester in 1991’s The Addams and its sequels, and most recently was seen in a small role in Nobody with Bob Odenkirk.

Michael J. Fox had lent his voice to Little Mouse in the ” Stuart Little ” films and also to the protagonist “Milo” in the film ” Atlantis : The Lost Empire” and its sequels. His most recent and final appearance of Michael J. Fox was in the series ” Designated Survivor ” in 2018, while two years later in 2020 he announced his retirement. He had been battling Parkinson’s since 1991 at the age of just 29 and when his career was at its zenith, just after the completion of the Back to the Future trilogy. However, he spoke publicly about the battle he is fighting for the first time in 1998.
