The Recruit will premiere in December on Netflix
Netflix has released the first trailer for its new series ” The Recruit ” starring Noah Centineo ( To All The Boys, Black Adam ) in a role reminiscent of… “noob” James Bond.
A young CIA lawyer becomes entangled in a web of dangerous international power politics when a former associate threatens to reveal the nature of her longtime relationship with the agency unless she is cleared of a serious crime. This young lawyer is none other than Centineo in this case.
The interesting element of the series is that it is directed by the complete veteran of action films – especially of espionage films – Doug Liman, who has previously worked on Edge of Tomorrow, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and The Bourne Identity . The series was created by Alexi Hawley (State of Affairs, Castle).
The plot of The Recruit:
A rookie CIA lawyer is drawn into the dangerous world of international espionage when a former informant threatens to reveal agency secrets.
When is it released?
The Recruit will premiere on December 16th on Netflix and consists of 8 episodes.
