Samsung: Its new TVs for 2023 bring AI technologies
The renewed line-up was revealed
As part of CES 2023 , the world’s largest technology exhibition currently taking place in Los Angeles, Samsung revealed its new TV models for 2023.
Going into details, this year the Korean giant will not bring to the market any new series of products, focusing instead on improvements for its Neo QLED , QLED and OLED TVs. The most important differences of this year’s models are found in the software, with Samsung bringing to the fore various AI technologies.
For example, the new 2023 models will come with the Auto HDR Remastering feature reminiscent of the corresponding function of the Xbox Series X. In particular, using AI deep learning, the TV will be able to convert in real time simple SDR content to HDR, for more vivid and bright colors.

At the same time, an important upgrade for the Neo QLED models of 2023 is that they will now have more dimming blocks, to almost completely eliminate the blooming phenomenon. In addition, the TVs will do 14-bit processing, which translates into improved shading gradation and the appearance of fewer compression artifacts, offering a more detailed display, especially in dark scenes. Samsung has also prepared some new gaming functions, with upgrades for GameBar 3.0, such as MiniMap Sharing and Virtual Aim Point features.
Overall, the line-up will come in the same inch range as last year, however consumers will have an additional choice in the OLED series this year, since the company will introduce a 77-inch model for the first time.
