FTX scandal: Amazon’s turn is coming for the case that shocked cryptocurrencies
The rise and fall of the famous crypto platform will come to life on our screens
The FTX scandal rocked cryptocurrencies as one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges filed for bankruptcy . Now this case that shocked the crypto world is coming to the big screen thanks to Amazon.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, a mini-series about the FTX case is coming to Prime Video , produced by Joe and Anthony Russo ( Avengers: Endgame ) and their company AGBO, which will chronicle the rise and fall of the well-known crypto platform.
The script for the first episode will be signed by David Weil, creator of the acclaimed series ” Hunters ” with Al Pacino, while the Russo’s are close to agreeing to direct all 8 episodes of the series.
The central figure of the story will of course be the founder and until recently “prodigy of crypto” Sam Bankman-Fried (Sam Bankman-Fried), although we do not know who will play him yet.


This project is just one of several in development in both fiction and documentary form for the FTX founder. Apple, for its part, is preparing its own project as it is close to securing the adaptation rights to the book by “The Big Short” author Michael Lewis.
The director of The Imitation Game , Graham Moore, is directing and writing an adaptation of a New York Magazine article about the disastrous case of crypto and FTX, two more documentaries are coming, one of which is being prepared by Vice’s The Information.
