27-year-old man robbed after buying 300 iPhone 13s from Apple Store
The robbers made off with one of the bags
According to New York’s 1010Wins Radio , a 27-year-old man was robbed shortly after leaving an Apple store . More specifically, this man had bought 300 iPhones from Apple Fifth Avenue on Monday morning.
He appears to have had the 300 iPhone 13s in three bags and was walking to his car at 01:45am when another car pulled up next to him. Two men came out and asked him to hand over the bags. There was an altercation and the robbers punched the 27-year-old man and eventually made off with one of the bags.
One bag contained 125 iPhone 13s worth $95,000 . In fact, police said the man in question often made large purchases of iPhones from that particular Apple Store and resold them at his own small business. At this time, it is not known why he made this purchase shortly after 1 a.m., nor if he had bought so many iPhones so late again.

Let us remind you somewhere here that Apple’s Fifth Avenue store is open 24/7 and even had several discounts due to Black Friday, which the robbers probably knew.
The victim, fortunately, was not seriously injured and the NYPD is currently investigating the case.
