SpaceX (BINTEO) Starship rocket test explosion

The team is assessing the damage

A prototype of the Super Heavy rocket that will take SpaceX’s Starship to the Moon has burst into flames during testing. Booster 7 as it is called remained standing and the explosion was contained to its base, with no injuries reported.

Booster 7 is getting ready for the Starship’s first orbital flight in a few months, and it’s unknown if and how far back the program is now this blast. Elon Musk commented on the incident, saying that the teams are assessing the damage and that future tests will not be conducted with all 33 engines firing together.
