A new Amazon Prime Video series…cancelled

There will be no Season 2 for Paper Girls

In the spotlight came another unpleasant news concerning once again a cancellation of a new series. In particular, it became known that Paper Girls , which premiered in the summer, will not continue on Amazon Prime Video , since the company canceled the series.

The news is reported by Deadline , who say that this decision comes a month after the 8-episode release and fairly positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. According to various sources, Legendary TV will buy the series and wants to try to raise its popularity and become a show like Euphoria by offering a story with young characters at the center.

However, this has not been confirmed yet. The series is currently being canceled by Prime Video and we still don’t know what its future holds.

The series starred Camryn Jones (Tiffany Quilkin), Riley Lai Nelet (Erin Tieng), Sofia Rosinsky (Mac Coyle), Fina Strazza (KJ Brandman), Ali Wong, Nate Corddry and Adina Porter.

If you have no idea about the series, then you can watch its official trailer to understand what it is all about.
