This is the smallest camera in the world
A special medical camera has entered the Guinness Book of World ‘s Smallest Camera . The OmniVision OV6948 may be small but it is miraculous as it saves lives in the hands of surgeons. Its strikingly small size as you can see in the cover photo is as much as a grain of sand, that is, 0.575 x 0.575 x 0.232mm, and capable of producing a 40,000 pixel color image. The image is transmitted at a distance of up to 4 meters with minimal noise. It delivers 30fps with 120 degrees superconducting, and has a depth of field of 3mm to 30mm.
Due to its size, this camera does … miracles in medicine, since it can be adapted to surgical instruments that enter the body for surgery, giving surgeons a clear inside view and often the source of the problem. The low power consumption even reduces the heat produced and therefore the patient’s dissatisfaction with long interventions.
