HP has been added to the list of tech companies that are making mass layoffs. The PC maker plans to lay off 6,000 employees over the next three years. The layoffs are part of a broader reorganization that HP announced during a meeting with its shareholders.

The company is expected to reduce its global staff by 4,000-6,000 employees. This is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.

HP has approximately 51,000 employees worldwide. The last fiscal quarter saw revenue fall 11% to $14.8 billion. CEO Enrique Lores attributed the poor performance to macroeconomic conditions and falling demand for PCs and printers.
