PlayStation Plus: September’s free games now available on PS4 and PS5

We have happily entered autumn and now the new free games offered by PlayStation Plus Essential are available for subscribers of all levels of the service on PS4 and PS5 .
Going into details, from September 6th until October 3rd , you can redeem three games. Specifically, PS4 owners can play Need for Speed Heat. This is the highlight of the month, which winks at the fans of racing games. Being the newest chapter in the legendary series, it’s an ideal warm-up for the next Need for Speed rumored to arrive later in 2022.
Moving on, PlayStation Plus subscribers can now download yet another PS4 game. This is Granblue Fantasy: Versus, a head-to-head fighter from the legendary studio – as far as the genre is concerned – Arc System Works. Finally, the last free game of the month is Toem for PS5, which promises a special photography experience.
It is worth noting that the PS4 titles, i.e. Need for Speed Heat and Granblue Fantasy: Versus in this case, are also playable on the PlayStation 5 through the console’s Backwards Compatibility feature. At the same time, once you redeem the games, they will remain in your digital library and will be accessible forever, provided that your subscription has not expired.
