Blonde: Ana de Armas visited Marilyn Monroe’s grave for a strange reason

Blonde is the new major production of Netflix , which won the audience a few days ago when it had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival. Starring here is Ana de Armas , who will play Marilyn Monroe , in a role that everyone is talking about.

Now, news has come to the fore that says de Armas got so into the role that during filming she, along with the production, did something unusual.

According to EW , before production began on Blonde, de Armas left a large envelope (a letter) at Monroe’s grave. The actress stated that together with the whole crew they took a big card and wrote a message, which among other things “asked” for her permission.

Andrew Doninic , also known as the director of “Assassination of Jesse James” bases his story on the book of the same name by Joyce Carol Oates, which mixes historical events with fiction, to create the other side of the myth of Marilyn Monroe. Blonde will be Netflix’s first strictly inappropriate movie with an NC-17 age rating.

Ana de Armas’ most recent film was in ‘The Gray Man’ also on Netflix, as well as ‘No Time To Die’ and ‘Deep Water’. We are also expected to see her in “Ballerina”, the spinoff film of the John Wick franchise.

Blonde will be released on September 23 exclusively on Netflix.
