Invoxia presented at IFA 2022, a smart wearable for dogs. The reason for the Smart Dog Collar , a collar that integrates GPS and sensors for the dog’s health.

One in five dogs will develop some heart condition in their lifetime, with some breeds more at risk than others. This is especially true for large dogs such as Dalmatians and German Shepherds.

A combination of sensors and artificial intelligence algorithms can detect tiny movements in the dog’s skin, regardless of their coat, providing metrics such as the dog’s breathing and heart rate.

The measurements of the collar are even accurate. It achieves 99% heart rate accuracy with less than 1% margin of error and 97% breath rate accuracy with less than 3% margin of error.

Apart from the health of the dog, you can also monitor its activities, like a smartwatch in humans. The Smart Dog Collar records your dog’s walking, running, sleeping, number of meals, how much it barks and how much it scratches. Connectivity via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and LTE allows tracking of the dog’s location in real time. Its battery lasts several weeks, while the collar is waterproof, dustproof and washable.

The Smart Dog Collar will be available from winter at the price of €99 and with a monthly subscription of €12.99.
