Nintendo Switch: It would be good to update your console

Update 15.0.1 is now “live”

Nintendo has just released the new Nintendo Switch update with version 15.0.1 and alongside it the patch notes have been revealed. However, do not expect many changes in the company’s hybrid console, because unfortunately it does not bring new functions or any new feature.

In addition to the standard general system stability improvements that come with every update, the new update fixes two known issues. First, the well-known “2181-1000” error that some users were getting when playing a game’s DLC on a non-Primary Console has now been fixed.

The 2nd issue is about screenshots, as many players were having problems. In particular, with the new update, Nintendo fixed the problem that prevented gamers from taking pictures during certain cutscenes in many games.

Patch Notes:

  • Resolved an issue causing Error Code: 2181-1000 to appear when playing DLC from a console other than your primary console.
  • Resolved an issue preventing screenshots during specific in-game scenes for some games.
  • General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.

For now this is fixed by the new Nintendo Switch update.
