Elon Musk: The car carrying his child was attacked (BINTEO)

Uproar with the Twitter account that got banned

The first topic of discussion on Twitter has become the ban of the account @ElonJet, which was monitoring the location of the private jet of the platform’s magnate owner, Elon Musk , in the last few hours . Specifically, both this account and similar ones created by developer Jack Sweeney were banned.

This decision is, of course, contrary to Elon Musk’s statements in November, when he specifically emphasized:

My commitment to free speech even extends to not banning the account that follows my plane, even though doing so poses an immediate risk to my personal safety.

The reason for the ban is Twitter’s new regulations that were implemented just a few hours ago, which prohibit the publication of real-time information about the location of anyone. Soon after, the platform also banned other accounts, such as those tracking the jets of Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates.

Musk’s U-turn appears to have been sparked by an incident that happened a few hours ago involving his two-year-old son with Grimes, ‘X’. In particular, the tycoon mentioned that last night, a “crazy person” was following the car that carried his son to Los Angeles, thinking that Elon himself was inside. In fact, he later blocked the path of the car and climbed onto its hood.

Musk is still trying to identify the person responsible for the attack and has asked for the community’s help. In particular, he posted a video of the incident, in which a man can be seen with his face hidden by a hood and balaclava.

Elon Musk’s statements:

Any account doxing their location information in any real time will be suspended as it is a breach of physical security. This includes posting links to websites with real-time location information.
Posting locations that someone traveled to with a slight delay isn’t a security issue, so it’s fine.
Last night, a crazy stalker was following the car carrying little X to LA (thinking it was me), who later immobilized the car and climbed onto its hood.
Legal action is being taken against Sweeney and the organizations that supported causing harm to my family.
