Hogwarts Legacy: This is how you’ll see how many hours you’ve played  

Useful for those who dive into its magical world from today

Some of you will have already dived into Hoggwarts Legacy thanks to early access, while others will be diving in today as the title is only available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC for now. 

The average length of the main story is said to be around 30 hours if you go hard, while for those who will sweep every inch of its magical world, it will take around 70 hours. However some people want to check how many hours they have played to know roughly where they are. 

It is possible to check your progress and how many hours you have completed in Hogwarts Legacy, through a simple trick.

Here are the step-by-step steps: 

• Press pause and go to the Settings tab.
• Tap the Save Game option
• Once the process is complete you will notice in the lower left corner of the save slot that it counts how many hours you have played. 

Unfortunately, there is no accurate minute timer in Hogwarts Legacy but it is the only way to know how far you have progressed. Also be aware that the gameplay timer purely counts gameplay hours and stops when you are inactive in the pause menu. 

A few words about Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world RPG developed by Avalanche Software (of Disney Infinity) that will transport fans to the magical world of the Harry Potter games. In particular, as players you will take on the role of a student at Hogwarts, even being able to choose your house and attend classes. Of course, there is no shortage of exploration, battles and difficult moral decisions.

In addition, apart from the many magical skills, you will be able to make magic potions, charms and other items, while there will also be the herbology course. Since it is an RPG game, of course you will be able to equip yourself with a lot of armors, while there will also be the corresponding character customization. There will also be many beasts scattered around the map that you will face, as well as many puzzles that you will have to solve.

It is worth mentioning that in the game you will not be able to play Quidditch matches, however you will be given the opportunity to fly with your magic broomstick and explore the area around the Hogwarts castle.

Hogwarts Legacy is out today for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC . The PS4/Xbox One version will be released on April 4, 2023 , while the Nintendo Switch version will be released on July 25, 2023.
