Google Chrome has a new trick to keep you from opening new tabs

Very useful for those who “google” everything!

If you’re constantly searching Google for anything, the new Chrome browser feature is for you, aiming to make your life a little easier.

Going into details, through its official blog, Google announced the new features that will come to the popular browser with its upcoming update, code number ‘108’. In particular, the desktop version will be enriched with a new button that will appear when someone searches in the central address bar.

Therefore, by pressing ‘Open search in side panel’ the search will not open in a new tab, nor will you leave the page you are already on. Instead, the results will be displayed in a side panel on the right side of the screen. If you select a link, then it will replace the open tab, with the panel remaining open until you find what you’re really looking for or close it manually.
