Rise Of The Ronin: New PS5 Exclusive Game Impresses (BINTEO)

Through PlayStation ‘s recent State of Play , developer Team Ninja announced yet another game called Rise of the Ronin . This is a brand new title coming from the Ninja Gaiden studio and will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5 .

The game focuses on combat, takes place in Japan during “the great changes”. It is the end of a 300 year period also known as Bakumatsu. So it is set in the late 19th ^century , where Japan faces its darkest times as it struggles with its oppressive rulers and deadly diseases. Additionally, Western influence seeps in, while civil war continues between the Tokugawa Shogunate and the Anti-Shogunate factions. In fact, we also saw a shot where the main protagonist is riding a horse and this seems to give freedom for exploration.

The official synopsis reads:

It’s darkest before dawn. In Rise of the Ronin you will explore an evolving world as you fight to forge a new era for Japan. You are a Ronin, a warrior freed from all masters and bonds, and as your destiny becomes intertwined with the characters of the story, you will take part in an immersive battle-focused action experience.

Let us remind you at this point that Rise of the Ronin is not the only game that Team Ninja is preparing, as Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty was also recently revealed.
