Pokémon: The actress who voices Ash says goodbye to the series in an emotional way

We are approaching the finale of the episodes

The Pokémon anime series has been on the air for about 26 years where we see the adventures of Ash Ketchum and his sidekick, Pikachu. Very soon, these two people will say goodbye – probably – once and for all, and two brand new faces will take over. So, wanting to say goodbye to the series, the actress who voices Ash has uploaded a video of her journey over the years.

More specifically, Sarah Natochenny posted a two-minute video on TikTok a while ago , in which she wants to show you everything she’s been through in the last 17 years of being the voice of Ash (in the English dub). She took over from Veronica Taylor in 2006 and has been in hundreds of episodes since then.

The anime has entered its final stretch in Japan and on April 14th a new series starring Riko and Roy will premiere and will bring along a new region, Paldea, from the recent Pokémon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet games.

Pokémon: Fans believe that the new protagonist of the series is Ash's daughter

For the record, the beloved show was first shown on the Japanese network TV Tokyo in April 1997. In total it consists of 25 seasons and over 1200 episodes, in which, in addition to Ash and Pikachu, we also see a rotating cast of other characters .
