Sex Education: The “chaos” after the 4th season – Probably one more protagonist will leave

The 4th season of Sex Education is still in progress and although fans are frantically waiting for the first official trailer from Netflix , an unpleasant news has come to light. The reason has to do with yet another possible departure from the show.
More specifically, it seems that Emma Mackey , who plays Maeve in the series, will also leave the show after the 4th season . This is at least implied through a new interview he gave to Total Filmgamesradar . Let us remind you somewhere here, that Mackey has been playing this role since the first episodes of the hit series.
It’s difficult and different when you’re playing a character that’s kind of stuck in time. You know, we’re playing these 17-year-olds and we’re almost all 30-years-old now. It’s a bit strange. It was all a blessing when we started and it gave us a lot of different opportunities, but it’s something I want to walk away from happily and protect. To enjoy the time that existed.
He should be left alone now I think. We can all go ahead and take all that Sex Education taught us because it was a school, literally for all of us. I think it made us stronger.
The official synopsis of Sex Education Season 4:
Following the closure of Moordale Secondary, Otis and Eric are now at Cavendish Sixth Form College. Otis is very nervous about setting up his new ‘clinic’, while Eric prays they don’t become the university losers again. Moordale students thought they were progressive, but this new college is on another level.
In the US, Maeve lives her dream at the prestigious Wallace University, taught by author Thomas Molloy. Otis pursues her while adjusting to not being home alone or the only psychologist on campus.

The Cast of Sex Education 4 now includes Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Aimee-Lou Wood, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Mimi Keene, George Robinson, Chinenye Ezeudu, Dua Saleh, Alistair Petrie and Samantha Spiro.
Among the notable cast losses are Tanya Reynolds and Patricia Alison who play Lily and Ola respectively, Simone Ashley who played Olivia and is now a ‘Bridgerton’ regular, as well as the newest loss, that of Rakhee Thakrar , who she played Professor Emily Sands.
An important person will leave the series after the 4th season . More specifically, Ncuti Gatwa , who plays Eric Effiong recently uploaded a photo on his official Instagram account and hinted that season 4 will be his last.
