The Apple Watch is getting a design change for the first time since 2018

What to expect from the “Pro” model?

Apple is expected to introduce a high-end model at the launch of the Apple Watch Series 8, and now new information from Bloomberg is talking about a radical redesign, so that it can accommodate the largest screen that the company has put on a smartwatch so far.

The Apple Watch has had the same design since 2018, when it introduced the Series 4. Bloomberg says the “Pro” model will be significantly larger than the Series 7 and have a 7% larger screen. He even claims that the redesign will be an ” evolution of the current rectangular shape “, while it will not have the rumored flat sides, which were leaked in rumors and you can see in the image below.

The “Pro” will also feature a stronger titanium alloy that will make it suitable for extreme sports. It will have a larger battery and in combination with the upcoming “Low Power Mode” it will last several days on a single charge. Finally, it will also feature body temperature measurement, which will probably be adopted by the entire 8 series.

We will have more information as the weather approaches for the presentation in the fall.
