Kindred: The new FX series that wants to captivate you (VIDEO)

FX Networks has released the official teaser for its new miniseries, Kindred . It is an 8-episode historical drama that will premiere in December and promises to captivate you with its story.

Its summary reads:

A young aspiring writer named Dana discovers secrets about her family’s past when she mysteriously finds herself on a 19th century plantation. Thus, she will come face to face with secrets she never knew existed.

Starring: Mallori Johnson, Micah Stock, Ryan Kwanten, Gayle Rankin, Austin Smith, David Alexander Kaplan, Louis Cancelmi, Brooke Bloom, Drew Matthews, Cherrie McRae, Britt Douyon, Antoinette Crowe-Legacy, Charles Parnell, Adam Bartley and Sophia Brown .

The show is based on the successful book by Octavia E. Butler and is directed by Alonso Alvarez and Janicza Bravo . The script has been edited by Matthew Shire and Branden Jacobs-Jenkins .

When and where will the series play?

Kindred will premiere on Hulu on December 13 and will probably also come to our country through Disney Plus . However, we don’t know exactly when.
