League of Legends: This is the Project L that Riot Games has been preparing for a long time (VIDEO)  

When Street Fighter met the world of Runeterra

Riot Games has released yet another video for Project L , which in case you don’t know, is a Street Fighter-style fighting game set in the world of League of Legends . Although we’ve seen plenty of gameplay footage in the past, the company had “made an appointment” with players to release new information.

So, a few months later, the developers are back again and giving us a new look at the title, which has normally been in development for years. The new information comes from the executive producer, Tom Cannon , but also the director, Shaun Rivera .

The new developer diary focuses on some previously revealed champions and explains their design philosophy, as well as how they took them from “LoL” and put them in a new game.

For the story, it is a 2D fighting, which takes place in the world of Runeterra and will be enriched with various champions from League of Legends. Its creators even characterize it as a tag-team style fighting, in which you will be able to build teams of two characters.

At the moment we don’t know when Project L is going to be released, while at the same time the normal name has not been revealed yet. Also, the company has not said on which platforms it will be made available. However, you can get a fresh taste of it through the player below.
