RUMOR: All iPhone 15s will have this new iPhone 14 Pro feature
Which is here to stay
A new rumor has been making the rounds on the internet for the last few hours about Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 . Yes, read well. The iPhone 14 range may not have quite hit the market yet, but information has already surfaced about the main processor of the next-generation 2023 models, all of which are now rumored to have perhaps its most significant new feature iPhone 14 Pro.
Going into details, according to a tweet by analyst Ross Young spotted by MacRumors , all iPhone 15s are expected to leave behind the well-known “notch” and incorporate the notch inside the screen . Practically, the Dynamic Island , the interactive area at the top of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max is here to stay. Thus, even the simple iPhone 15 will use it to effectively hide the Face ID sensors and the selfie camera, taking advantage of all the software features prepared by Apple that have to do with displaying notifications and more.
The same analyst then pointed out that Apple will keep the ProMotion 120Hz display exclusive to the Pro models next year, since the costs are still such that they don’t allow adding the feature to the more affordable iPhones. However, he noted that it is more likely in 2024, i.e. in the iPhone 16, that we will have a ProMotion screen in all available models.
For the record, Apple has already made several APIs available for Dynamic Island, allowing iOS developers to exploit it and prepare new features and functions. So we have already seen toys, even… pets that live on the ‘island’ of the iPhone 14 Pro.
