Hogwarts Legacy is rumored to be a series on HBO Max
Will it be one of the TV Harry Potter projects being prepared?
It has been rumored for some time that a series within the Harry Potter universe is in the works from Warner Bros. on behalf of HBO and now a new rumor reveals more.
This rumor comes from Giant Freakin Robot , who has had a pretty good run of confirmed reports , and reports that a ” Hogwarts Legacy” TV series is “in the works” that will air on HBO Max and will of course be based on the game of the same name. Portkey Games , which has been making waves lately.
At the moment, this is the only information that has been released from the said report, and it is not clear if it will focus on the game’s plot or take some other different direction. As for example we do not know who will be the protagonist of the story or who will participate in the cast.
What is certain is that with the huge success of HBO’s The Last of Us series , it makes sense that Warner Bros. to want another such strong paper in her hands, while the 9th Harry Potter film is also being prepared.
Recently, there have been other rumors that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be made into a movie , with the return of the main star trio of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint .
Hogwarts Legacy is out on February 10, 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The PS4 and Xbox One version will be released on April 4, 2023, while the Nintendo Switch version will be released on July 25, 2023.
