NVIDIA: Brand new drivers 531.79 available

With improvements for Redfall and Diablo IV

NVIDIA has released the latest version of GeForce Game Ready drivers for its graphics cards, with version code 531.79 WHQL . This update ensures optimal performance for Redfall, the newly released Xbox shooter that incorporates DLSS 3 technology for owners of RTX 4000 graphics cards. The Game Ready Driver also includes support for DLSS 2 technology in several other new titles, such as Showgunners and the upcoming Diablo IV Server Slam .

Going into details, Redfall is a co-op first-person shooter set on a post-apocalyptic island where a sect of vampires has seized power. Players can choose between four different heroes, each with their own abilities and weapons, and team up with up to three friends to fight the vampires. The game supports NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 technology, which uses artificial intelligence to increase framerate and resolution.

On the other hand, Showgunners is a multiplayer shooter that combines fast-paced action with strategic elements. Players can customize their characters and weapons and compete in various modes such as Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and King of the Hill. The game supports NVIDIA’s DLSS 2 technology, which improves resolution without sacrificing performance.

Finally, the Diablo IV Server Slam is the next beta test for Blizzard’s action RPG that will take place on May 12th. The event will allow players to explore the open world of Sanctuary, while helping the development team to discover the limits of their multiplayer infrastructure. This new beta will also support NVIDIA’s DLSS 2 technology.

The new GeForce Game Ready Driver 531.79 also fixes several issues reported by users of RTX 3000 series graphics cards, such as crashes in Battlefield 2042, The Last of Us, and Unreal Editor. Additionally, the driver restores the higher refresh rate option for the Asus VG27WQ and Acer XV253Q monitors in the NVIDIA Control Panel.

As with all drivers, you can find GeForce Game Ready 531.79 on NVIDIA’s website or through the GeForce Experience app.
