Netflix will be flooded with Korean content this year
With the biggest lineup ever
Korean productions have flourished in recent years, especially through streaming services such as Netflix . From Crash Landing on You to the blockbuster Squid Game , it looks like this year will see plenty of new “K” content on the popular platform.
As Netflix has revealed, 2023 will be the year with the most Korean content ever released on the service. In fact, 34 new programs have been revealed so far, but it won’t stop here, since this year you will also see sequels from beloved series.
The VP of Content for Korea, Don Kang , spoke about Netflix’s large lineup :
The global popularity of “K-Content” continued into 2022, with Netflix bringing many different stories and genres to fans around the world. In the last year, Korean series and movies have appeared very regularly on Netflix trends worldwide, in over 90 countries, while three of the most popular series in Netflix history are from Korea.
This year, we’re going to push the stories we tell even harder. With this lineup, Netflix will continue to be the ultimate destination for exciting and diverse Korean storytelling.

Let us remind you somewhere here, that this year you will see new seasons from Sweet Home, DP and The Glory , as well as many other projects such as A Time Called You, Behind Your Touch, Crash Course in Romance, Destined With You, Doona!, King the Land, Love to Hate You and See You In My 19th Life .
Daily Dose of Sunshine, Queenmaker, The Good Bad Mother, Goodbye Earth, Bloodhounds Celebrity and Mask Girl will also be released during the year .
