Pokémon: The new series is a fact without Ash and Pikachu! trailer
With two new protagonists!
The Pokémon Company has released a new video on YouTube and revealed that it is preparing for the finale of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series and announced something new at the same time. In particular, as it became known, the adventures of Ash Ketchum and Pikachu will be completed next year and after that, a brand new series will come.
But let’s start things from the beginning. The new Pokémon anime will feature new protagonists and take place after Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series. It will be the first series, after almost 25 years, to have other main characters named Liko and Roy , who will be in the Paldea region.
In fact, this series will also include new Pokemon from recent Nintendo games, such as the starters Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
As for Ash now, the company has revealed that in 2023, it will release 11 special episodes and calls them “Final Chapter”, which will focus on the legendary protagonist and Pikachu. This means that you should prepare now to say goodbye to Ash, as after the finale of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series you will see other central figures.
The final chapter of Ash and Pikachu’s story will play out on January 13, 2023 in Japan and will include 11 new episodes.
For the record, Ash Ketchum became the best Pokémon trainer in the world a few weeks ago after many years. We still don’t know what the special 11 episodes will include, so stay tuned to Unboxholics.com for anything new.
