Big delays for Shazam 2 and Aquaman 2 – Date for The Nun 2 too

You will need to arm yourself with patience!

Some of your favorite heroes will be coming to the big screen a little later as Variety says, as some Warner Bros. films . Discovery received a delay. To begin with, the first film that is significantly delayed is Shazam: Fury of the Gods , while the much-anticipated Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom follows .

Warner made the decision to bring the two films a bit later and that means: Shazam 2, which was due to hit theaters in December, will finally arrive on March 17, 2023 and takes the place of Aquaman 2. This means that Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom which was supposed to premiere in March 2023 is finally expected to be released on December 25, 2023 .

Other DC films such as The Flash and Black Adam have not received any delays for now. However, an untitled film – which we don’t know yet – will be released on February 10, 2023 . Evil Dead Rise will arrive on April 4, 2023 , while The Nun 2 is coming on September 8, 2023 .

Salem’s Lot , based on the 1975 novel by Stephen King , was scheduled to be released on April 21, 2023, but will now come later in 2023.

It is worth mentioning that the new Evil Dead movie and House Party were originally to be released on HBO Max, but after the new strategy of Warner Bros. Discovery, that has changed and will play exclusively in theaters.
