Netflix has just “cut” a brand new series
You Won’t See Season 2 of ‘First Kill’
Deadline reports that Netflix has cut yet another of his series, which debuted on the service last June . We are talking about the young vampire show ” First Kill “, which had regularly entered the weekly charts in many countries, as well as in Greece.
According to sources, the series did not have the same momentum as other young Netflix shows and did not even reach the threshold for viewers to watch and complete the episodes.
The official synopsis for the series read:
When it’s time for teenage vampire Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook) to make her first kill to take her place among a powerful vampire family, she sets her sights on a new girl in town named Calliope (Imani Lewis). But much to her surprise, Calliope is a vampire hunter, from a family of famous slayers.
The cast consisted of Aubin Wise as “Talia”, Jason Robert Moore as “Jack”, Dominic Goodman as “Apollo”, Phillip Mullings Jr as “Theo”, Elizabeth Mitchell as “Margot”, Will Swenson as “Sebastian”, Gracie Dzienny as “Elinor”, Dylan McNamara as “Oliver”, MK xyz as “Tess”, Jonas Dylan Allen as “Ben”, Roberto Mendez as “Noah”.
The series was written by Felicia D. Henderson and Victoria “VE” Schwab, while the first episodes were directed by Jet Wilkinson of The Chi and How to Get Away with Murder, with Felicia D. Henderson as showrunner.
