Babylon: The new movie of Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt goes “nail” for the Oscars (VIDEO)
You’ll see it in theaters on January 6
Paramount Pictures ‘ Babylon has acquired a new trailer, which wants to take you on a journey to the golden age of Hollywood, directed and written by Damien Chazelle , “La La Land”, “Whiplash” and “First Man”.
The film consists of a huge cast of actors who are: Olivia Wilde, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Tobey Maguire, Samara Weaving, Jean Smart, Li Jun Li, Jovan Adepo, Katherine Waterston, Flea, Lukas Haas, Rory Scovel, PJ Byrne , Spike Jonze, Chloe Fineman, Jeff Garlin and Max Minghella.
The film produced by Paramount Pictures, in addition to being a strong contender for the upcoming Oscars, is also an ode to the Golden Age of Hollywood, when the transition to talkies was taking place.
Most of the characters, however, are caricatures of real stars of the time, as the director reveals. For example, Pitt’s Jack Conrad is inspired by John Gilbert, Clark Gable and Douglas Fairbanks, while Robbie’s Nellie LaRoy is inspired by Clara Bow, Jeanne Eagels, Joan Crawford and Alma Rubens.
Babylon will play in select theaters on December 25th, but on January 6th, 2023 it is set to be released “regularly” in all theaters. Watch the official trailer through the following player.
